In a remarkable achievement at the Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad in London, four students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej earned a gold medal for their innovative project. The team, comprising Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, clinched first place with their Smart Irrigation Train project, surpassing competitors from 80 countries.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, recognized the students’ success, lauding them as exemplary figures for the youth of the United Arab Emirates. He highlighted their commitment, ingenuity, and resilience, asserting that such creative and determined young individuals are invaluable assets to their nation, fueling both progress and prosperity.
