He shared a personal photograph from 1971, where he is pictured as a 10-year-old alongside a thank-you note addressed to his teacher, Ahmad Ibrahim Mandi, underscoring the lasting impact teachers have on their students.
Sheikh Mohamed’s tribute was joined by other prominent UAE leaders. Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum commended teachers for their critical contribution to developing the country’s human capital. Similarly, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the importance of education in the UAE’s growth, emphasizing the role of teachers in nurturing young people’s knowledge, confidence, and ambition.
Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan echoed these sentiments, noting the vital role educators play in the UAE’s progress by fostering knowledge and preparing future generations. Education Minister Sarah Al Amiri also praised teachers for their central role in achieving the UAE’s long-term educational and developmental objectives.
