This week, temperatures in the United Arab Emirates are set to soar, with certain areas in Abu Dhabi expected to reach a sweltering 48°C. The spike in temperature is anticipated particularly on Thursday, affecting regions like Mezaira, Gasyoura, and Al Quaa, while Abu Dhabi city itself may see temperatures rise to 43°C.
In contrast, Dubai is predicted to experience slightly cooler weather, with temperatures peaking at 40°C on Thursday. This increase in heat comes after a spring that was relatively mild but marked by periods of unsettled weather. In recent weeks, temperatures in several areas have already been consistently surpassing 40°C, indicating the imminent arrival of the summer season.
The UAE officially marks the start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere on June 21. Meteorologists are forecasting that the region will continue to endure hot conditions in the coming weeks, following this current trend of rising temperatures.
